- Hercules® Purple Primer for PVC and CPVC is a professional-grade primer formulated for use on CPVC and PVC pipe and fittings
- Easy to apply on any diameter of PVC or CPVC piping with included in-lid dauber; not recommended for use on ABS piping installations
- Purple tint ideal when plumbing code requires primer verification
- Removes surface dirt, grease and grim while pre-softening pipe
- Allows for a fast, secure solvent weld
- Recommended application temperature of -15°F to 110°F / -26°C to 43°C
- All Hercules solvent cement and primer products are certified to UL Greenguard Gold
